荣誉课程很小, personal and engaging — you’ll get to know your classmates and faculty members quickly and well. 荣誉学院 students are also eligible for special opportunities, including:

• Full-time students enrolled in the 荣誉学院 will receive the HVCC 基金会 荣誉学院 Award of $3,000每学年.
  This award is offered in the Fall semester and Spring semester ($1,500/semester) for two consecutive years at HVCC provided the student remains in good academic standing* in the 荣誉学院. 奖学金可用于支付学费, 教科书, 学费及其他教育费用, but tuition and 费用 will be paid first before remaining funds can be used toward 教科书 and other educational expenses. The award will supplement any 费用 that are not covered by FAFSA, NYS 援助, or other 奖学金. The combination of all awards cannot exceed the cost of attendance. Paid internships are also available through the college through a separate application process.
  学生s are required to complete the FAFSA application each year and are encouraged to apply for any additional aid, 奖学金, or awards to assist in the coverage of tuition, 费用, 书, 及其他相关教育费用. The HVCC 基金会 荣誉学院 Award is available at the beginning of each semester, 通过HVCC基金会. The HVCC 基金会 also offers many other college 奖学金 我们鼓励学生申请. Applications are available in the Fall and Spring semesters.
  * To remain in good academic standing, students must maintain an overall 3.每学期5个GPA, participate in at least six 荣誉学院 volunteering activities each semester, complete a 服务 project in term 3 and present at the 荣誉学院 Showcase in term 4.
